About Whitney

Adopted by Todd & Amy

Houston and Whitney MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions. See Houston here.

Adoption Fee: $350 for Both Cats

Whitney and Houston are a very classic brother and sister pair. Whitney is smaller, lighter colored, more fine boned. She poses a lot, sitting still with her body perfectly arranged, like a delicate China doll. Don’t be fooled by her quiet perfection. When not posing Whitney is very actively affectionate and loves attention, she will make sure you feel loved. She’s the most dominant and outgoing in this litter of four.

Her look-alike brother, Houston, is bigger, darker, and longer bodied. He very much likes attention too but he is less forward than she is. A gentle and good-natured male he accepts her attention seeking nature and will graciously defer to her, which makes him a very good brother to her. Boy kitties can be so sweet and this is true of Houston. He can play like a demon but he has a very gentle spirit and is a very affectionate boy kitty.

I love the way these two are like bookends, copies of each other in male and female versions. Look on Purebreds’ Siamese page to see their see their mother, Britany. They both have her pale blue eyes that can look like other colors in different lights. Their noses, fortunately, are pink which sets off their delicate coloring. As Lynx Point Siamese kitties both have brown on their heads and long, dramatically striped ” raccoon tails”. Their coats are soft and plush, wonderful to stroke. Their colors will darken a little as they mature.

Good natured Whitney and Houston are easy kitties to take care of. They would be good companions for adults of any age and probably good kitties for families with children. They love chasing feathers, of course, and they are happy to explore and play as kittens do. They both will help you do your chores and follow you about the house with Whitney in the lead. I don’t know how they are with dogs but they are certainly cat friendly.

Some family will be so lucky to have their companionship and entertaining presence.

They eat wet and dry food and are litterbox perfect.

Whitney is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, and microchipped.

She is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Whitney (and Houston) please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Harriet at harrietluvskitties@yahoo.com If you are unable to reach Harriet please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
