Wally is a gorgeous older gent who came to us after his human mommy passed away, he was quite confused and lost at first but he quickly warmed up to his foster mom. He has the most fabulous whiskers that curl in towards his nose, reminiscent of a walrus, hence his name of Wally. He had pretty nasty teeth and was a bit matted when he arrived in rescue so he happily sat through a grooming session and is now sporting a lion cut. He also had dental surgery and is feeling oh so much better now.
Wally loves to sprawl out on his foster mom’s bed and he rolls over and stretches out for belly rubs. He is completely nonplussed with other cats, he can take them or leave them. Little dogs don’t bother him but he does avoid the big dogs in his foster home. He has claimed the bedroom as his spot and only occasionally ventures out through the rest of the house. He is a bit shy with strangers and it will probably take him a bit of time to adjust to another new mommy/daddy but once he does, you will have a friend for life. Wally would prefer a quiet home with not a lot of activity so a household with younger children would not be the best fit for him.
Wally is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
He currently lives with his foster family in Placerville.
