Remember beautiful Benjamin? Reginald and Sweetie Pie are his siblings. All three are strikingly gorgeous. Benjamin has been adopted. These two are a very balanced pair- both confident, both playful, both troublemakers, both with long silky hair, both very cuddly. They are devoted to each other, very bonded. Reginald has a perfect dark face with bright white ear hair. He used to be the quiet one, but he has outgrown that now. And he is now growing bigger faster than his sister.

Reggie is a “Classic tabby,” which is his dramatic marking with a bullseye on each flank. ( I know, it feels like a “Classic” tabby should have stripes, but striped tabbies are known as Mackerel tabbies.) Look at his face with his dark eye-lines next to his creamy eyeliner. This little boy still has a lot of growing to do, as does his sister. Maine Coons keep growing to reach their mature size into their third year. Reggie is going to be a magnificent adult cat.

Sweetie is like a mini-me of Benjamin. She has the same soft golden brown coloring, same broken stripes and spots, the same fluff of silky hair, and the same black footpads. Her tummy is a warm creamy color. She also has big furry paws and will probably be a big mature cat. Show stoppers, both of them! It is quite possible if they get outside, they might be stolen – they are so unusual looking and so friendly to strangers. Their new family needs to keep them safe, which includes outthinking them and not underestimating their athletic abilities.

Of course, they are active, playful, curious, and relatively fearless world explorers. Sweetie Pie often looks like a little warrior princess in photographs. Reggie is the gentlest of the three. Both kittens love human attention and are easy to hold, pick up and cuddle. They relax completely in human arms but not if there is something that grabs their attention and they want to run to explore it. Classic kitten behavior. ( Kittens tend to sleep in your arms when they are tired.) These two are kitten and cat friendly. I have no idea how they would be with dogs. Children old enough to keep them inside would be fine. They have never been outside but, like most cats, would probably go right out an open door.

These photographs were taken over a two-plus month period and show these kittens younger in some photos than others.

Some family will be so lucky.

Reginald eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

Reginald is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, and microchipped.

He is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pets and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Reginald (and Sweetie Pie), please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Harriet at harrietluvskitties@yahoo.com If you are unable to reach Harriet please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children to bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
