About Sumo
Born ~3/26/2021, M, Orange and White, Shorthaired
Hello, my name is Sumo. Thank you for taking the time to read about me. I am a short haired, orange and white boy, and am about 6 1/2 months old. My foster mom says I will be a good size cat when I’m finished growing. I am a total lovebug. I have an instant purr and wander around the house purring just because I’m happy. My foster mom is considerate enough to take the occasional nap just so I can cuddle up with her and my siblings. Life doesn’t get much better than that for me or you!
I am a high energy kitten and would do best with a kitty playmate. I can make anything a toy. I especially like playing in the bath tub with crinkly, foil balls or ping pong balls.
In my foster home I live with other kittens, adult cats, and one very crazy medium sized puppy. I like to play with the other kittens in the house. I am pretty good at chasing an elusive fly that might get in the house. My foster mom says I am better at the hunting part than catching them. Oh well, can’t win them all.
Sumo is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
He currently lives with his foster family in Sacramento.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
