About Charlie

Adopted by Solyman E

A woman had too many Siamese kitties so three came into foster with us. These three are all about a year old. Aiden is a tender little boy who appeals right away to your heart. He needs to go home with his housemate Snickerdoodle. Snickers, as he is called, is a Snowshoe Siamese with a wonderful high drama face and unusual tufts on his ears.

The third kitty in this group is Charlie, a beautiful, sleek Blue Point boy who seems to be a little older than the others. Unless a family can take all three of these boys, Charlie will go home separately. In cat-speak, for some reason, they call silver grey kitties “blue”. I tried to get photographs of him in the light so you can see his beautiful coloring. Charlie has a silver body that goes so well with his icy blue Siamese eyes. Look how long and slender he is and how finely detailed paws are. His personality also seems a bit older than the other two. He is curious and independent, more confident. He likes attention and petting though he, like all three, is not a fan of being held on a shoulder. As the photo shows, however, Charlie allows being put on a shoulder politely. He is a good-natured cat.

Now that these kitties have been with us a couple weeks we can see that these boys are friendly to humans. Every day they are more relaxed and comfortable being around us. They arrived very stressed but now they purr. Losing your home and spending some time in a shelter is enough to make any kitty stressed and worried. These young boys are no exception. Despite their recent changes you can tell they were clearly all raised with love. All are very healthy and all are now neutered. Their well-meaning mom just had to learn the hard way the reason why people say to spay and neuter your kitties.

Siamese kitties have a very loyal following among cat lovers. These smart, interactive cats like to bond very deeply with their humans. They make excellent loving companions. And of course, they are exceptionally beautiful. I don’t know how these kitties are with dogs. They would probably be fine in a family with gentle teenage children. They do want their humans to be around much of the time since they are so connected with them and get lonely without them. A home with another friendly cat would be good for Charlie who is used to being around a number of kitties.

Some family will be so lucky to have his companionship.

Charlie eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

Charlie is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, and microchipped.

He is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Charlie please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Harriet at harrietluvskitties@yahoo.com If you are unable to reach Harriet please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
