When this little girl came to us she was thin, dirty, ill with a cold, adorable and very scared. Portia was under two pounds. Where were her mom and siblings? She was so small and so alone. ( the last two photo’s show how she looked then ) I am happy to say she has grown and is now healthy, soft and beautiful. She loves humans and when she knows you she will talk to you in her soft, small voice. She will come and ask you for attention and love. And food.
This little girl is not yet confident in the world and new things can make her hesitate or back up easily. She loves her catnip infused feathered toy and will happily drag it around with her but waving a feather wand for her can still spook her. At four months she is just a baby and needs to learn about the sounds and stuff of life.
Portia needs quite a quiet home.She will outgrown this stage but right now it would probably be best to give her a home without children or dogs. She does get along with other kittens as long as they are not aggressive or dominant. Portia would be happy however to be an only kitty, a companion to someone who is home a lot of the time. She would be perfect as the only pet companion in the house to someone who is home a lot, even when COVID recedes.
Portia will change as she matures. Already we can see she is quite a climber and she will probably be a mischievous little entertainer in a few weeks or months.She has the blue, blue eyes of a Ragdoll. White mitted means her paws are white, a brighter white than the rest of her body. She has a lynx pointed kitty’s brown color on her tail, ears, face and ears. As you can see her fur is silky, silky soft.
Some family will be so lucky to have her loving company.
Portia eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.
Portia is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, and microchipped.
She is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz.
