About Porsche (and Peter)
Adopted by Tim and Bangon
What a special pair these two siblings are. First of all they are so bonded together. They groom each other and sleep with each other and line up in the same pose together. They are great at playing together and can keep each other entertained all day.
Porsche is the live wire of the pair, sparking off energy, full of movement and curiosity and interest in everything including strangers. She is a smart, high energy girl, hard to photograph because she is always a blur. She is very social and likes attention.
Peter has quieter energy. He is a big play monster in his own right but he is more the strong, sweet and silent type. He is going to be a big cat.His Maine Coon look is developing. He is long legged and slender now- sort of a coltish phase…He is not old enough to have developed his full coat.
Porsche is also still developing her coat and colors. As a “color pointed ” Ragdoll- her “points” being her head, feet and tail- her colors darken as she matures. She is a lynx point and what darkens are the color on her legs and tail, maybe some color on her back and “M” and color on her forehead. Her icy blue eyes show that Siamese kitties are part of the genetic heritage of Ragdolls.
She is about a pound lighter than her brother and though Ragdolls are big cats and mature slowly as Maine Coons do she will likely stay distinctly smaller than her big protective brother. She can play and play. If you get her really wound up chasing a feather she can become over excited and every once in a while she will put her teeth on you. She may nibble or nip but never breaks the skin or hurts. The person playing with her can watch her excitement level and prevent this if they wish to. But for this reason I would not adopt her to a home with little children who may not understand.
Peter and Porsche need a home with lots of space and lots of attention. They need room to run and explore. They play extremely well together. These two have not been around dogs but would probably do well given a proper slow introduction. They like other cats. These wonderful kitties are good family cats and can be comfortable with a noisy, active environment. Or if their home is empty til their family comes home from work they can entertain each other during the day. It is really fascinating to watch their relationship as they groom each other, and line up like side by side like in a pod.
Some family will be so lucky to have their entertaining, loving company.
Porsche is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
She is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz.
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.
If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Porsche (and Peter) please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Harriet at email@example.com If you are unable to reach Harriet please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
