About Poppy

As a flame point kitty, Poppy is a little unusual because only one in five are female. With her beautiful snow-white coat, orange plumed tail and ice blue eyes, Poppy is a vision. Her bunny-soft coat begs to be stroked, which she loves and will reward with a loud purr. Calm and sweet-natured, she has learned the pleasure that sitting in laps brings. Poppy can be talkative at times, asking for attention and letting everyone know she’s ready for a meal. She enjoys playing with the other foster kittens, chasing and wrestling with them. Her favorite toys are balls she can run after, track toys and feather wands she can jump up to catch. While she can be cautious of new experiences and people, with a little time she becomes comfortable.
Poppy would do best in a quieter home. She needs a human who has the time and understanding of cats to nurture her in her new environment. In return, she will provide hours of snuggling, attention and play.
Poppy is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
She currently lives with her foster family in Foresthill .

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
