I am Pistachio, a beautiful 6-1/2-year-old male Gold Exotic Shorthair. My fosters don’t have much info about my past, as I was picked up on the street by animal control and no one came to claim me.

I am extremely sweet and love laying on your lap and sleeping on you at night. I love playing with feather toys and laying on the couch catching the sun as it comes through the window.

I am a very quiet boy who would do best being an only cat or another older cat. Younger cats have too much energy for me. My foster family does not have young children, but think I would do okay with them. I am fully vetted and in good health. The rescue just had a dental on me and removed a cyst from my face. I feel much better now. I will need a home that can clean my face daily and give me lots of love. Although I am really sweet, I do not do well at the vet, and they have a hard time examining me. I can get a bit feisty if they don’t take it slow with me. That being said, my fosters have bathed me and I did really well. I just sat there like a pretty cat. I am truly an amazing boy who is just looking for my forever home.

My foster mom says I am neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. They say that’s good!

I currently live with my foster family in Canyon Lake.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you’re my perfect adopter please explain why in the comments section of my Adoption Application, and contact Debbie at debbie.cocanour@gmail.com or 714-851-4854. If you are unable to reach Debbie please email info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
