Pierre is an example of another reason why it is a good idea to neuter your young male kitties. Mother Nature will always involve them in fights for the girl kitties. Often inexperienced teenage male kittens get harmed in fights with older, heavier, street wise tom cats. This is probably what happened to Pierre. When he was left at the shelter he had been bitten all over his head, ears, shoulder and front left leg. I included a photo of his leg . The teeth marks you see were duplicated on the back of his leg. Something probably a cat with thin sharp teeth had held Pierre’s leg in his mouth.
Pierre recovered well and recovered quickly. His wounds are closed and healed ,his fur is growing back. Despite this nasty and shocking experience he showed us right away what a friendly, sweet guy he was. He is a classic Siamese which means he wants a deep bond with his humans, he is a people cat. He seems interested in other cats ( despite his experience) and may also be a good companion to a cat. Pierre needs to be kept inside only in a safe and stable home where he will be loved and included in family life. He will be happy to settle into a loving home.
He is a very beautiful cat. “Seal Point” means his face, ears, legs and tail are a rich dark brown which is set off by a cream colored body. He has a lovely, soft, plush coat. As you can see his eyes are the icy blue of a Siamese kitty. Pierre is a healthy young boy. I would guess he is well under two years old. He is now neutered and had his vaccines and so forth- allis taken care of. I have no idea how he is with dogs. It is possible that a little dog bit him. He would be fine with older children. He will make some lucky family a wonderful and very beautiful companion.
Pierre eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.
Pierre is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, and microchipped.
He is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz.
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
