Natasha (aka Tasha) is a purebred Siberian cat from Siberia. She starts out a little shy but will warm up quickly, especially if you give her lots of belly rubs, she adores them! She and her partner Rex are bonded and have lived together their whole lives (at least since Rex was born). They sadly lost their human in a tragic accident so they were placed in foster care to help them find a new human to love.

Tasha is particularly intrigued with a laser pointer and she will run around chasing it until it slows enough for her to pounce on. She also likes a bedtime snack of Temptations cat treats (aka kitty crack). She is a good sized girl weighing in around 11 pounds, not huge but definitely not tiny. She and Rex both have a thing with running water, they come with their own water fountain but they also enjoy a bit of running tap water too so if kitties on counters or in sinks are not your thing then these two are not for you.

Tasha has a very sweet, tiny voice and she is very good about telling you what she wants, either water in the sink, more dry food in the dish (she likes Science Diet ID), or just to tell you it’s time for belly rubs. She and Rex occasionally groom each other and can often be found napping near each other, sometimes even holding paws.

As a senior kitty, she is quite mellow and would be happiest in a mellow home. She tolerates dogs as long as they keep their distance and is also tolerant of other kitties. She is not a lap cat but she likes to be in the same room with her humans once she is comfortable in her surroundings.

Natasha is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, microchipped, eats wet food, and eats dry food.

She currently lives with her foster family in Placerville.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Natasha (and Rex) please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Jennifer at ppcrjen@gmail.com If you are unable to reach Jennifer please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
