A few years ago I was a feral street orphan. I found a place where people were always there during the day. I was very shy back in those days and very skinny. You see I just wasn’t sure if I would be okay, because life was really, really hard. The people, especially Sarah, helped me with food, water, and let me inside the office during the day. I went outside for the night. One night I was viciously attacked! My throat was slashed by a mean dog. I couldn’t make it to the office until the afternoon. Sarah took me right away to a cat doctor. I had surgery and stayed at the hospital for a whole week. After I was brought back, I began to love my people in the office more and more. Happily, they loved me too. I lost my meow, so I talked to them with my eyes. Six months later I was attacked again by one of those mean dogs that came around at night! I had a BIG surgery because my back leg was torn open and badly damaged. I do not feel my foot due to nerve damage. I am able to walk and hop, but not quite right. I can no longer jump. I do best on bare floors. The doctor said I needed a home without carpet to avoid abrasions. Then, I had a lot of pain using the litter box. Sarah said there was blood in my urine. Oh No! back to the cat doctor? Yep, I had a common problem: protein deposits in my bladder. Thank goodness the special food I eat keeps that from happening again! I am grateful for the many people that helped Sarah pay the good cat doctor that saved my 2, maybe even 3, lives!

I’ve been doing really good for almost 2 years now. The office is being remodeled and it’s time for me to have a real indoor-only home. Sarah’s home cat is aggressive and really scares me, so I can’t stay with her. She said, “it’s okay Mr. Fritz, somebody’s gonna love you like nobody’s ever loved you!” She tells me I’m the Best Cat!

Do you like to brush kitties? I just loved to be brushed! I will come running if you pick up my brush! I like laying beside people and being their bestest friend. I don’t need other cats, dogs, or kids. I like to be where you are and will follow you. I am uncomfortable being picked up. Please don’t do that. Calm places are my favorite. Do you have feather toys? I love feather toys! Will you play with me? Every day? I’d love that so much! I like sisal rope scratchers, ramps to climb on, and food! Sarah also feeds me weight management food.

I am a really good boy that just loves to chill out. I will love you forever ~ Mr. Fritz

My foster mom says I am neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. They say that’s good!

I currently live with my owner in Antelope.
