About Hazel
Born ~6/2013, F, Tortie Point Himalayan
Hazel is the cutest little bug of a kitty, her mommy had to move to of the country and could not take her so she was surrendered to a shelter and found her way into rescue. She is a quirky little kitty with pure tortitude, for those of you familiar with torties, you will know that means she can be as loving as can be one second, then swat and run away the next second, they have very mercurial personalities.
As far as other kitties go, she likes some and hates others. She is fascinated with Wally (please see Wally here) and has a big crush on him but there are a couple of other kitties in the house that she will actively stalk and attack. She absolutely hates one of her foster mom’s own personal kitties and loves to antagonize her at every opportunity. She seems to be fine with gentle dogs, she likes the Papillion and the Golden Retriever in her foster home but she does tend to avoid the St. Bernard, but who can blame her – 160 pounds of drool isn’t her idea of a good friend.
Hazel would probably prefer a family all to herself but we know she would be thrilled to bring Wally along with her so she can continue to ogle and flirt with him. They do make a handsome pair! Since she is a feisty girl, families with small children may not be the best for her, older children that understand her feisty nature would probably be fine. She is healthy and current on all her vaccinations, she may need a dental in the future but her teeth are in pretty good shape for now.
Hazel is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
She currently lives with her foster family in Placerville.
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pets and create an ideal forever home.
If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Hazel please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Jennifer at ppcrjen@gmail.com If you are unable to reach Jennifer please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
