Is your heart big enough? My name is Champ. I am a traditional Blue purebred British Blue Shorthair. I really like my foster dad. My foster mom feeds me, scoops my poop and really takes care of me but foster dad is my man. I am eight years old, cannot handle too much petting – been told I get over stimulated and like to nip.
Hey, I am also not a lap cat. I do like to follow my fosters around and do not like to be alone. I would be incredibly happy to be your one and only. Other cats are invisible to me. I ignore them and hope they will just go away. I disappear when dogs or children are around. They terrify me. I find hiding places where they cannot find me and stay there until I know for sure they are gone. Please don’t ask to adopt me where cats, dogs or children are present. My foster parents tried that already. I’ve let them know it is not what I would choose for a forever home.
I genuinely like my food and love to sneak my fosters. I do not think I am overweight – just portly. I have IBS and am on ID prescription canned food from my vet along with a probiotic. I am a food driven cat! Wand toys are not my thing and most cat toys just do not cut it. I prefer following my fosters and receiving encouragement on the head and neck every so often. I love to sit next to my fosters while they watch TV or just hang in the same room with them. At night, I sleep with my fosters on their bed – sometimes I sleep on a chair next to their bed. I would do best with someone who is home all day and doesn’t mind constant companionship.
I do not do stairs very well and have never been outside. I am an indoor only guy.

My foster mom says I am neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. They say that’s good!
I currently live with my foster family in San Rafael.
