About Barry

Born ~11/1/2020, M, White Tabby Munchkin Mix

Don’t let his vertical challenge fool you, this boy is self-assured and determined to do everything his longer-legged friends can do! Barry loves to run full speed and his lower chassis allows him to take corners even better than his foster mates, an advantage he revels in! While he excels in corners, seeing what’s going on can be more of a challenge for him so he often sits up on his haunches like a prairie dog. Barry is a boy who isn’t afraid to ask for what he wants, he literally flops over on his side in front of you for some belly loves. Barry can be a bit bashful so a calmer home with a confident kitty or two would be best for him to continue to build his confidence. Barry loves to be loved and isn’t shy about asking for it, especially when everyone else is enjoying some cuddles. He is also VERY fond of treats, meat tubes are a major favorite of his though he isn’t so keen on the “everything in moderation” theory, then again who is when it comes to treats!

While Barry isn’t exactly an extrovert on the initial meeting, he is an affectionate good-natured boy who loves to purr, and once he gets his bearings and gets to know you, he will show you his sweet, loving, and comical side every single day!

Barry is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

He currently lives with his foster family in Sacramento.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Barry please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Dayna at meandmyfosters@outlook.com If you are unable to reach Dayna please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
