Born ~4/24/19, F, Classic Tabby Maine Coon Mix
This little gem is absolutely priceless! Tessa had a rough start in life yet is a happy, sweet, and fun bundle of love with an adorable personality. She enjoys playing with others but when you are around her, she only wants to be near you. She chirps at you for attention, gives lots of face kisses and likes to help clean you. She definitely inherited the Maine Coons trait of enjoying water so be prepared to find her scooping in the bowl and “washing” her toys. If you aren’t a fan of nose kisses, lap warming, shoulder hugs and sweet chirps, she wouldn’t be the kitty for you.
Tessa’s favorite toys include just about anything she can make into a toy and has a tendency to prefer the less expensive toys so paper towel rolls, paper bags, boxes and zip ties are a must! Despite her past, Tessa has truly blossomed in foster care and will make the perfect combination of lap cat, and playmate, making you feel like the luckiest person alive!
In addition to her adoring eyes, Tessa has a beautiful medium long, silky coat that is extremely easy to maintain with grooming once or twice a week at the most though short grooming sessions work a best for now. Tessa’s foster family has all sorts of other furry creatures she gets along with, even the Border Collie Gracie.
Tessa is up-to-date on her vaccinations, neutered/spayed, FeLV tested, dewormed, microchipped and use the litter box perfectly. She has a fairly simple diet of both canned and dry food and loves the occasional treat too, though she most likely eat them in exchange of real food.
Tessa currently lives with her foster family in Sacramento. Who wouldn’t want a dynamic, loyal, loving, best friend around? If you are looking for charismatic love bug for your home and heart, and willing to give her as much love as she will provide, she would love to have you as part of her forever family!
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
