2-3 Year Old, F, Brown Spotted Bengal
Meet Tessa! With her beautiful green eyes, spotted coat and very gentle manners, she will be a pleasure to share life with for some lucky adopter. A wonderful lady “rescuer” saw Tessa at a local shelter when she came in as a stray, pulled her, and took her home and had her vetted. The only note on the shelter paperwork was that Tessa required a dental and then was adoptable. The “rescuer” who took her has her dental scheduled on May 28, then she can go to her new forever home.
Tessa’s “rescuer” notes that Tessa is “affectionate and darling”. If you are on the bed with her and just sit, she will nudge you for petting and loves being scratched around her head. She is not a pushy girl and her “rescuer” thinks she will be totally devoted to her person. She was really good with the poking and prodding at her vet appointment. But, right now, if you approach her first, she will walk away. So, her “rescuer” thinks she needs a quieter home with a patient, loving owner without young children so Tessa can unfold over time to her full potential.
The Bengal breed is not a cat for everyone. You will enjoy the responsibility and possibly the challenge of keeping Tessa safe, happy and entertained indoors. Her loyal companionship will be a privilege and a great pleasure for the right home.
Tessa currently eats both canned and dry food. A high-quality protein diet is recommended for the Bengal breed. Tessa’s medical records will come to her new owner adoption day.
