Bonded Pair with McCloud, Special Needs
Marshmallow is an active, happy-go-lucky kitty who loves to play with toys, but will settle for your toes or his brother’s tail. He plays hard and then loves to snuggle on your lap for a nap. Marshmallow and his brother, McCloud are a matched set. Both boys are beautiful, plush white and are fastidiously clean. They both have some black smudges on their heads that are just different enough so you can tell them apart. Both also are special needs.
Marshmallow, like his brother, requires a special diet to control his irritable bowel. He is on a limited ingredient diet and does very well as long as he stays on it. Marshmallow has also recently been diagnosed with luxating patellas, meaning his knee caps are more mobile than normal. Occasionally he will limp for a few minutes if the kneecap moves, but it happens so rarely that the doctors are not recommending surgery at this time. There is the possibility that at some point a knee stabilization surgery will be recommended but that would only be if Marshmallow is limping or painful frequently.
Marshmallow is very human-bonded. He has been socialized with adult cats and a Labrador Retriever. He has not been around children. He has tested negative for FELV.
Marshmallow is fostered in Woodland, CA.
If you would like more information, please contact foster mom, April, at firstname.lastname@example.org or send in an Adoption Application with your chosen kitten’s name. If you are unable to reach April, email us at Info@purebredsplus.org.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
