2-3 Year Old, F, Nebelung/Russian Blue Mix
Kyna is a sweet, pretty and still a bit shy little Nebelung/Russian Blue mix with medium haired soft fur. Her current owner couldn’t leave this precious girl behind in the shelter because the shelter decided that Kyna was too shy to get adopted. They put her with the indoor feral colony and poor little Kyna became very depressed.
When her owner first brought her home, Kyna was of course scared but with love and patience her current family has helped her become a new cat. The only reason they need to rehome her is because both husband and wife are suffering from severe cat allergies.
Kyna is still scared of loud noises (although she is ok with the vacuum cleaner) and please expect her to be nervous around new people, but when she starts trusting you, she is quite a loving little bear who enjoys playing with string toys and wrestles with small plush toys. She is a loving cat and has a cute meow!
Her ideal home will be with a mature person or a loving couple who have a mellow cat or who had a shy cat before and understand that Kyna needs patience to evolve and to become comfortable in her new environment. There is something so very special when we humans get to enjoy the progress a shy kitty makes when we are able to provide her or him with love, affection and patience. Just gazing at such a perfect little being makes caring for a kitty something very magical and rewarding.
Her current owners want Kyna’s new family to know that although this little lady prefers not to be picked up, she likes to cuddle next to you. At first she might be quite scared and will try to hide but if you are gentle and patient, she will let you pet her (you can expect her purr motor to start at that time) and later on she will come out to see you.
She eats high quality grain free dry and wet food, which is a mixture of Acana Meadowlands dry food (Champion Pet Foods) and Nulo turkey and salmon medal series wet food.
Please note that Kyna is not in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home but residing with her current owner in Sacramento, CA.
