My name is Cinderella and I am 7 years young!
I prefer to be the Princess of my domain with either minimal interaction or no other kitties in the home. If they come too close I will let them know my preferences! I did just get spayed, so my attitude might change a little as I mellow from that, but I doubt it. On the other hand dogs are okay because they tend to leave me alone. They know better than to mess with me. I do like being the center of attention.
Okay, so I don’t like other kitties, but I simply adore humans and they tend to love me too. I adore being pampered and loved. I enjoy being talked to and brushed. I follow my foster mom around the house just because I feel the need to be close to my humans. I love sleeping on my foster Mom’s pillow wrapped around her head. Yes, I am a social butterfly and a little lover girl! And I’m looking for a forever home…hmmm…maybe yours?
So why am I here with PPCR? Well, it seems I have something called polycystic kidney disease or PKD (I hope you know what that is, because I sure don’t, too many big words). I was diagnosed with it via an ultrasound after PPCR took me in. I am not showing any symptoms at all, my blood work and urine look great. It’s really sad though because I was used as a breeder before I came to PPCR and PKD is a genetic disease. Yes, that means any of my babies might end up having it too. It makes me want to cry at the very thought. I so wish they would have tested me before using me as a Mom. What about my PKD? It could be weeks, months or years before its symptoms actually kick in, so I do require regular vet checkups to keep a close eye on it. Meanwhile, I’m going to live my life to the fullest!
I am looking for a special someone who can overlook my PDK and be willing to love me as I am, for as long as I will be here. I would be your very special girl and you would be my treasured person. Don’t get me wrong, I am very fond of my foster Mom, but it’s not quite the same as having a place you can call your own. I really want to experience a forever home and know what true love really is.
I am very grateful to PPCR for willingly taking me and caring for me as they have. Moving forward I have to believe that my very special person is reading this and will want me for their very own.
Wishing for My True Love to Find Me…
Cinderella The Little Princess
If you want to find out more about adopting me please email PPCR at email@example.com. Please provide your full name and phone number so my foster Mom can call you! I can’t wait to meet you!
As the holiday is upon us, we’re asking for a very special someone to provide a home for Cinderella. She deserves a loving family and a real fairy tale ending. We know her story is difficult to hear, but we know it’s not over, so we’re looking to you to help create the next chapter for her.
Yes, it is heartbreaking that Cinderella has PDK. But we want to make her dreams come true. She is a loving and adorable little girl. She has a true zest for life! Can you find it in your heart and soul to love her, to care for her, and to be there for her? Help us give this little girl a real forever home.
There are ways to make something beautiful, valuable, and meaningful even in instances such as this. You just have to have the strength, courage and the love to do it. Don’t let the fear of losing someone you love stop you from giving Cinderella her dream.
Are you the person who has Cinderella’s slipper?
