Meet Zuri; she is a purebred Brown Spotted Golden Glittered Bengal. Her coat looks like it was sprinkled with fairy dust which gives her a shimmering and sparkling look. Besides being a dazzling stunning cat, she is extremely affectionate. She will beg for attention, likes to be held and enjoys being in your lap, loves being brushed, gives head butts, rolls over for belly rubs, and doesn’t mind having her nails trimmed; she makes great biscuits and makes a funny little chatter purr when she’s happy. She hasn’t had the opportunity to sleep with a human since being in foster care but based on her affectionate manner, I’m sure she will be happy to accompany you in bed. She will play with any toy you offer her but especially likes the nylon tube and a pipe cleaner. She has most traits of the typical Bengal, but she is just about the sweetest kitty ever.
Zuri has no health issues at this time; she is very healthy. It is important that Zuri be an indoor-only cat. This breed is very prey motivated and would happily chase a squirrel or bird up a tree to get it. She would be expensive to buy from a breeder, and I would worry that she would get catnapped. Bengals love water, and although Zuri hasn’t had the opportunity to get in the sink in her foster home she does like to play with the water in her water bowl.
The ideal home for Zuri would be someone with Bengal experience and a home large enough for her to get the exercise she needs, ideally a catio; she would love you forever. She will need to be able to climb and sit near a window to watch the wildlife outside.
Zuri is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
She currently lives with her foster family in West Sacramento.
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pets and create an ideal forever home.

NOTE: We prefer families with children to bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
