Born August 2006, F, Silver Spotted/Striped Purebred Savannah, Front Paw Declawed
Zahara is a lovely, active and very loving F3 Savannah. She was born in August of 2006, but do not get fooled by her age and think she doesn’t have a zest for life because she truly does. She is a green eyed girl and her coat is silver with spots and stripes. Her belly is very pale, almost white. Zahara was surrendered by her breeder to a vet clinic where her current owner worked at that time.
Zahara is a very affectionate girl and enjoys giving head bonks. When it comes to bedtime, be prepared to have a snuggle kitty underneath your bed covers. Her ears are really big and she can lay them completely flat against her head when she is “hunting” her toys. She likes to hunt small cat stuffies, laser pointer, feathers and crinkle balls. It’s really fun to watch when she is practicing her feline prowess.
If you enjoy having conversations with your feline, you’ll appreciate the fact that she is a big talker and she also has a very loud purr. Additionally, if you think that taking a stroll with your cat is something fun to do, Zahara is leash trained and will be happy to accompany you on your walks.
Although she has lived with cats and dogs her entire life, she has recently decided that she would prefer being a single female feline in a home where she can have her human(s) all to herself. Her current owner is really torn about the decision to rehome her, but sometimes we have to let go what we love the most for the benefit of the loved one.
Zahara was surrendered by the breeder because of a neurological disorder that she was born with. When she is stressed or upset she will walk in tight circles. She does not require any medication, is not in any pain and is perfectly happy otherwise. She eats, drinks, and enjoys life. Although she is too busy to be a lap cat, she doesn’t mind being picked up. She is a very special and unique little cat – well, she is actually not that little considering that she weighs about 18 lbs.
Someone will be very lucky to get to adopt such a unique and loving cat.
A donation in lieu of an adoption fee would be appreciated.
