Xena

Here’s Xena, the little black monkey, who is Jojo’s daughter and needs to be adopted with her. Orientals are slender but Xena arrived a little bit too slender and she quickly gained more than a pound with us going from 4 pounds to well over 5 pounds. She is clearly bonded with mom, Jojo, and you can sometimes see her “comfort nursing” on her. (She gains comfort but no milk). These two kitties are very bonded together. It is lovely to watch them together.

Xena is still a very young girl. She is all length and play. Her black color makes her a gorgeous walking silhouette. It is impossible not to laugh at her antics. And yes, she does get into everything.

Xena , like her mother, is an affectionate darling though like many kittens, she does not usually have time for humans until she is tired from playing with every single thing around her.

Xena eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
