Born ~07/15/2016, Female, Red Tabby Maine Coon Mix
Of the three tiny red long haired kittens I took into foster I thought I would have three little red brothers since red tabby girls are rare. As they grew a bit we learned we had two girls and one boy. What a surprise! This is Winken, the larger of the two. She and her sister, Blinken, have dramatic markings with round bulls eyes on their sides. They have wonderful red coloring and not only the white eyeliner of their brother but also white feet, bibs and tummies.Their eyes are still changing from their baby color to their adult color.
Winken is 2.75 pounds which makes her the biggest. She is a sweet girl. Her sister, the impudent Blinken, is more out there. Winken is quieter and very much a love bug. You can see that sweetness in her photo’s. Of course she is curious and playful and wants to explore everything. She is still so small I have no idea how she would be with dogs. I would think she would be fine with children over 4 feet tall. I said that because these little ones need to be protected while they are so young, curious and playful.
Winken and Blinken are so bonded together they need to be adopted together. No exceptions to that. What a magnificent pair they will make when they are adults.
Winken eats wet and dry food and is litter box prefect.
She is spayed and will be ready to go home about the end of September though she can be adopted and reserved with her sister prior to that.
Winken’s foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
Contact Harriet at (831) 336-2983 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions, or send an Adoption Application. If you are unable to reach Harriet by phone or email, email us at Info@purebredsplus.org.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
