Wilbur is NOT in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home, but residing with his current owner in Alameda. Adoption fee applies. Find out more about Owner Placement Cats.
Wilbur is already a very handsome guy at just 13 weeks old! He will develop into a striking Mackeral Tabby with hisdistinctive markings, greenish eyes rimmed with black mascara, and those oh so long whiskers ! He is currently in the care of his rescuer who has this to say about him:
Wilbur appeared on a friend’s doorstep with his mom and siblings. He was a tiny bit shy, so rather than take him to a shelter where he might not receive the necessary socialization, I’d rather he remain in foster care until he finds a permanent home.
He has come around wonderfully since coming into foster care about a 2 weeks ago. He purrs, plays and has recently started giving head butts. He is in foster care with his sister Audrey, and it would be lovely if the two of them could be adopted together. If not, he is very curious about other cats and could likley live in a home with another friendly cat who would enjoy having a young, energetic kitten to play with.
He has been exposed to dogs and, although hesitant, could probably live with a calm, gentle dog. Wilbur would likely also be fine with calm children who would respect his boundaries. He is still somewhat hesitant with new people, but within just a few days, he warms up and is a happy kitten.
Wilber is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet food, eats dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
Look for Wilbur’s adorable sister Audrey and Margot, his exquisite young ‘black panther’ Mom, also posted on our website.
Wilbur currently lives with his owner in Alameda.
Purebreds Plus Cat rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.
If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Wilbur please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Pam at email@example.com or 541-347-8076. If you are unable to reach Pam please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
