About Trixie
Born ~2014, Female, Calico Manx
Trixie is a little girl. She looks bigger than she really is in these photo’s. She is very solid and compact, built like a little tank. She has a nubbin of a little tail that sticks up – it is just a tuft of fur really. So cute.
She is still a baby girl at two years of age and as they say “girls just want to have fun”. Any waving feather grabs her attention right away. She loves to play. And she runs about like a bunny and is very entertaining to watch. “Catnip?? Do I smell catnip?” she seems to say. That grabs her attention faster than anything.
Calico’s tend to be opinionated and a little edgy some say but though Trixie despite her very vivid calico coloring is really a very good-natured and agreeable girl. She seems to be cat friendly after a little introduction. She loves humans and all the attention and good things they bring. She is too active right now to be a lap cat unless she is really tired out. I don’t know how she would be with a dog but she sure would be cute with a little pug for example if they became play buddies.
Her rear paws sometimes, but not always, turn outwards a little more than normal. This does not seem to bother her and is part of her cuteness and just something she was born with. She is full of energy and nothing slows her down. This makes her very hard to photograph. I can never catch her sitting still long enough to get a picture that is in focus. Sorry.
She eats wet and dry food happily and is litterbox perfect.
