About Tom
Born 2008, M, Russian Blue

Tom is a beautiful, Russian Blue, 10 year old cat with piercing, emerald green eyes. His coat is thick, charcoal grey and silky. He is a shy boy probably because of his sad story. Tom and his brother Jerry lived in a beautiful Victorian home in the bay area with an elderly man and his care giver. Their owner’s son removed owner from the home for other placement. The son put the house up for sale and left Tom behind.
Tom was so bonded to his owner that when he was away, Tom refused to eat. You can imagine the terror he must have felt being left to fend for himself outside in the cold. Luckily, a neighbor fed him and alerted rescue, but not before he spent a year outside.
Can you offer a warm, loving home for Tom and his brother Jerry. They need to stay together as they are a bonded pair. Tom is healthy and fully vetted.
