About Toffee (and Tucker)

Adopted by Victoria and Hank

Toffee and Tucker MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions. See Tucker here.

Well these are very sweet boys. They are Madeline’s brothers and her wonderful foster mom also loved up these two from their first week of life and made them the confident love bugs they are. Their photos show how comfortable they are in the hands of humans. No tenseness here. They are happy, confident, goodhearted kittens who love human touch.

These two are variations on the theme of cinnamon brown and white. Toffee who has a “saddle” of spotted brown on his back has the most color. He has the long tail some Manx’s have and it is ringed like a raccoon’s. His head with its brown ears and pink nose is very similar to Tucker’s. Both have four perfect white paws. Tucker has a medium short Manx tail of about three inches in length. Both have plush, soft white fur over most of their body. They are very beautiful.

I love pairs of kitties that are similar but different. These two brothers look great together, strongly bonded they are constantly stepping over each other or sleeping together. Their young Manx mother, Mamakin, has a tail like Tucker’s and will be posted soon. She was a very good and patient mother but now she is done with her kids and its ready for her new life. Mother Nature sets things up this way.

This family of kitties comes from a town known for the numerous Manx kitties living there. The Manx gene is dominant and creates a variety of unusual tails. Manx kitties can have no tail, or a little nubbin a tail, or tails an inch long like Jam has on our kitten page, or short tails 3 to 5 inches long like Tucker’s , or tails just as long as any non Manx cat like Toffee’s. Anything goes and all are great fun.

These two kittens have grown up around other cats and kittens and enjoy playing with them. They had a little bit of exposure to two big dogs and it makes me think they would do fine with the right introduction to friendly dogs.

These boys are just great-hearted nice guys. They are playful, loving, curious perfect little kitties. They would be good family cats with children over the toddler stage and great entertaining companions for an adult who needs their company. It is impossible not to smile when you are around them.

Some family will be so lucky to have their beauty and sweet companionship.

Tucker and Toffee eat wet and dry food and are letterbox perfect.

Toffee is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, and microchipped.

He is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Toffee (and Tucker) please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Harriet at harrietluvskitties@yahoo.com If you are unable to reach Harriet please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
