Привет or Privě́t!
If you are wondering what that is, it is Hi! in Russian. You see, I’m a beautiful Maine Coon kitty who came here all the way from Russia. I’m only 18 months old and I have been working all that time. Slave labor, really, as I was a “queen” for a breeder in the Davis area. I was rescued by some really nice people, and me and my 5, four day old babies have been living the good life at the home of my foster Mom and Dad in Rancho Murieta.
It’s really pretty cool; we have our very own bedroom with all kind of places to sleep, and lots of toys and food! And my foster Dad and Mom are pretty cool too. The first couple of weeks I was there they came in all the time to pet me, play with me and tell me how pretty I was. Then, when my babies got a little bigger we all came out of our special room and got to wonder around in the big house. We still like our special room and go there to eat and to sleep at night.
During the day my babies and I like to play on the kitty trees in the house, run up and down the stairs or just hang out on a lap. I really like it when my foster Papa sits in his recliner chair; I jump up in his lap and take a nice long nap. Hey, this is the good life. There are also other resident kitties here as well as a Golden Retriever dog and I’ve made friends with all of them cause I’m a pretty mellow kitty.
As you can see by my pictures I’m a very pretty girl, and since I’m only 1 and a half, I will be getting bigger until I reach my full size at about 3 years old. I’ve just been spayed, so I won’t be having any more babies. I am very healthy and I always use my litter box. I love to nibble on dry food during the day and have a nice dish of wet food in the evening. As far as I’m concerned I’m still a kitten and love to play. I especially like to play with toys on a string attached to a stick. I will do that forever. Remember, I didn’t really have much of a kitten life because I started having babies while I was still a baby. I’m making up for that now!
As I said before, I am a very friendly, mellow kitty and would love to have a family that loves me, gives me a safe indoor home, and takes good care of me. I promise to return that love and devotion 10 times over.
I am fostered in Rancho Murieta, CA (Sacramento Area).

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
