About Sweet Cheeks
Born ~4/15/2022, M, Seal Point Siamese Mix
Hi there! My name is Sweetcheeks, why you ask? Because my foster mom says I am the sweetest boy ever with the cutest cheeks you could ever kiss! Mom says I was born with a neurological condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia, which is really just a fancy way of saying I am a ‘wobbly kitty.’ Cerebellar hypoplasia or more commonly called CH, a noncontagious, nonprogressive condition that causes problems with balance and coordination but live long happy lives just like other kitties. The good news is that my condition isn’t painful or difficult for me, I just do some things a bit differently than other kitties do. In fact, I don’t really know I am different at all! I can walk short distances, climb up on the couch and kitty trees, and don’t need help going potty, though I do lie down to go since my balance is off. Mom says I am a very happy boy, love to be held, cuddled, pet, and, will play with anyone, though an active yet kind kitty friend would be best! I am not shy at all and don’t know a stranger; I will wobble right up to anyone and introduce myself. Mom says I am living my best life and I like to prove that to her by giving her the biggest hugs and nose pecks!
Wobbly kitties may look a little unusual and be some extra work, but they make the most amazing companions! One of the best things about them is their nature. As many CH kitty owners say, these cats are some of the sweetest, bravest kitties ever.
Sweetcheeks is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
He currently lives with his foster family in Sacramento.
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.
If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Sweetcheeks please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Dayna at meandmyfosters@outlook.com If you are unable to reach Dayna please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
