About Sunny
Born ~11/22/2020, M, Brown Mackerel Tabby Maine Coon Mix
November update: Sunny has fallen into household routine very well, continues to be fun, and has settled down to two play-times a day, morning and evening. He sleeps on my bed or his cat-tree platform for most of the rest of the day, alternating with bird-watching on the windowsill and, occasionally, jumping up on my lap for a purr session.
Original Post: Sunny is a big, beautiful, active, affectionate Maine Coon mix who needs a quiet home with people who are more than willing to play with him several times a day! He’s not so tall but those legs are good and thick and his body is heavy. Boy’s built like a brick!
He loves wand toys and track balls. He loves running so much, I think he needs his own dog!
In truth, I don’t know how Sunny is with a dog, but he is such a fun personal assistant, always active, and usually following me from room to room. He’s now coming to be held several times a day.
He should go to a home that appreciates brio and affection even though he’s not a total lap cat yet.
Sunny is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
He currently lives with his foster family in Davis.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
