Born ~5/ 1/ 17, F, Grey & White Maine Coon Mix

This little soft girl does not like the camera. She tends to look worried or startled, or turn her head entirely away. She is not destined for the stage. She is a gentle cat. Her soft grey colors set the tone for her. She likes to cuddle after you mesmerize her a bit with soft pettings. She is a contemplative cat. What is she thinking with her big eyes and quiet expression. Her coat is light grey and snowy white, silky soft, medium length fur . Her “nose leather” is surprisingly a little black triangle for a dramatic accent point. Summer will likely be a fairly big girl, she has big paws and certainly has been going through a growth spurt recently.

Summer will be someone’s very good, well-behaved companion. She would prefer a quiet household, not a noisy home full of kids and commotion. Summer gets along with other cats (she is special friends with Sparkle) but she could also be an only cat with the right human for her company. The world worries her a little and loud noises can startle her and make her jump. She is looking for warmth and love and safety. Her adopted brother, Winter, who looks just like her is, by comparison, quite the opposite…he wanted noise and adventure. Summer wants a loving, sweet home which matches her sweet nature. This is not to say that she is not a playful, curious girl; she can be a mischief maker and race around like the kitten she is. But not too much.

Summer eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
