Stella’s breeder wrote “I gave her a haircut with scissors , but it’s not a good one. She has a very pretty coat when grown out .She is small and always looks like a baby kitten”. Stella’s fur is growing in, but in all honesty she’s still a bit disheveled right now. Her coat is quite long, but it’s unevenly cut all over including her tail. In a few months it will all have grown in. Stella is clearly red and white, but I think she has a little brown, especially on her goatee. We just gave her a bath and combed her out to get her ready for her picture taking session.. Stella thinks that all grooming and brushing is just more of the wonderful attention she loves so she doesn’t mind being fussed with.This makes it fun to groom her. Her coat doesn’t have the cottony under layer that matts up so it’s easy to run a comb through her..
Stella is getting more beautiful every day. I hope I caught some of her look in the photo’s I took. Look at her big, round, beautiful eyes that dominate her tiny head. Her nose is just a little tiny heart of color. The white under her chin forms a ruff that sets off her red and white head.
You probably noticed that most of her photographs show her with her pink tongue peeking out. I’ve seen it in, but it seems like it is out more often than not-or maybe it is just when the photographer is around. It’s tiny and so adorable. You can’t see it, but breeder said she has a little overbite. It doesn’t bother her at all or get in the way of her good appetite.
Stella is certainly quite the character. She’s full of energy. She loves attention. She loves to eat. She frequently gets her chin wet or covered with wet food so you will find you wipe it every day. She plays like a crazy person. She wiggles if you try to put her on your shoulder for a nice photo shoot. She says just because I’m small doesn’t mean I don’t have opinions. I’m not a toy!!. (Maybe that’s the spirited redhead in her talking). She runs to you to ask for petting and playtime. She’s full of fun and opinions and affection.
Stella likes all sorts of people and she seems to be very comfortable with all sorts of kitties. (This Breeder let her kitties run loose in her home so they are nicely socialized and comfortable with other kitties.) She would be good in a busy household with respectful children over 3 feet high. I have no idea how she would do with dogs. She’s such a little thing of course you want to protect her and keep her safe.
Little girl is a one of a kind kitty. Some family will be so lucky to have her loving and entertaining company.
