Hi I’m S’more! I am a very handsome boy with a dark smoke coat with cream highlights! I’m still kind of young so not sure exactly what color my eyes will be! My coat is plush, soft and long. I have a full ruff around my neck and tufts on my ears! And I have a rumpy which means I literally have no tail—just a tuft of hair. So that makes me a Manx! A Cymric to be exact, which is really just a long-haired Manx.

I love to be loved! I love to play too. I enjoy chasing the bright little fuzzy mice and wrestling with my sister, Flutter-Nutter, who ended up with a long tail! Go figure! I’m not jealous though. Who needs a tail anyways, huh? There are also two other kittens here that are fun to play with!! I can run really fast and when I do, I look like a little rabbit! My foster Mom laughs at me when I run—she thinks it’s cute!! I bet you would too.

I am the adventurous one of this group and am always looking to explore! In fact I have almost escaped a number of times ‘cause I’m curious and just want to see what is going on out there and be with you. I don’t want to miss anything! My foster Mom keeps catching me though. Drat!

Oh and did I mention I love to be loved? I also have a very, very, loud purr. If you sit on the floor with me, I will be climbing all over you so I can snuggle and get some loving. Then when I am done, off I go again running and playing! I also have an adorable chirp I use to get your attention! Are you looking for a crazy little kitty to be your assistant? Then adopt me!

S’more will come to you neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and vet checked! He would be okay as a single kitten as long as he is not alone all day. If he would be left alone for long periods then it would be best to adopt two kittens. Of course, if you have another easy going kitty that will want to play that will work as well.

Manx are fun loving creatures. They typically like to retrieve, play in water, and carry things around in their mouth. They will bring you a toy when you are in bed, reading, or doing something other then interact with them. These cats attach themselves to their human family with uncanny devotion, often claiming one individual over the others as their special friend. Generally not loud cats, quiet chirps, trills or purrs, and gentle head bumps, are the favored methods of communication for a Manx. It is a joy to be owned by a Manx, I was owned by one for 16 years. A well-loved, well-cared for Manx will become an important part of any family. Once they have entered your heart, you will find it hard to ever be without a Manx. These are truly cats for everyone.

Manx can be completely tailless or even have a full length tail. These siblings prove that –Fluffer Nutter has a full tail and S’more has a rumpy, no tail. Read more about the Manx here.

S’more is fostered in Reno, NV.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
