About Simba
Adopted by Michelle & Eric
Born 2/2013, M, Ruddy Abyssinian
WARNING!! You are going to fall in love with Simba. He is a handsome athletic and muscular ruddy Abyssinian. He is about 4.5 years old and he loves to play with all toys. He will greet you at the door with his sweet chirp, yep, I said chirp. He is so enduring, more to love about him!
He loves all kinds of attention, and he is very curious. Exploring is one of his favorite things to do. There is so much to check out. He so loves attention and humans! He’s good with other cats and is interested in what you are doing.
If you are looking for a lover and personal assistant this is the perfect boy for you. He would do well with gentle children and/or with other laid back cats. Simba is a very special heart-warming cat, looking for that very special forever home he can call his own. Could you be the one for him? We know you will fall in love the moment you meet this phenomenal boy.
He is on a raw diet 2x daily and dry food too. We highly recommend he remain on it.
Simba must be adopted with his pal, Nala.
Simba is fully vetted, is up-to date on vaccines, neutered, FIV/FELV Negative and is litter box perfect.
Simba is fostered in Elk Grove, CA.
Please call Nancy at 916-761-1929 or email gogirlnancy0517@gmail.com or send an Adoption Application. If you are unable to reach Laurie by phone or email, please email us at Info@purebredsplus.org.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
About the Abyssinian Breed
Of all the cat breeds, the Abyssinian is perhaps the one who lives life to the fullest. He climbs higher, jumps farther, plays harder and loves stronger. Nothing escapes the notice of this highly intelligent and inquisitive cat, a quality that makes life with him endlessly entertaining. Staying a step ahead of an Aby, or even just keeping pace with him, sometimes requires the fancy footwork of a Fred Astaire, the brainpower of an Einstein and a healthy sense of humor! You never know what he’ll get into next, although you can assume that if you have something or are doing something, your Aby will want to be right there with you helping every step of the way.
The Aby loves to play, so plan on making or purchasing a variety of toys to keep him occupied. Teach him to retrieve if you dare. Cause once you start, he will likely want to do it a lot! He learns tricks quickly and many Abys enjoy running a feline agility course. This is a playful, persistent, loving cat who adores being the center of attention. Abys are typically adaptable throughout their lives and fit well into almost any home where they are truly loved and given plenty of attention.
