About Shauncy (and Sprinkles)
Adopted by Abra
Shauncy and Sprinkles MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions. See Sprinkles here.
Hi there!
My name is Shauncy. My forever mom passed away a few months ago but we are so lucky Purebreds Plus came to rescue us and place us with a great foster mom in San Rafael. So now we are hoping to find a wonderful new home for my friend Sprinkles and I.
I am the most handsome “Choccie” you will ever see. My amazing baby blue and violet eyes come shining through my playful mask. Did you know the pigment is darker on the cooler parts of my body? I have a short soft coat that remains a pale ivory-white, with a few shades of 70% chocolate. Aren’t I just delicious? I have a minor condition of hyperthyroidism and easily take my pill with no fuss in the morning and evening.
I am a quiet laid back fellow ready to curl up with you and share my affections. My friend Sprinkles likes to communicate more and play with her furry ribbon wands. I think we make a well-rounded balanced pair together. We prefer a tranquil home without the dog species.
It takes a conscious decision to adopt an older cat (especially a pair of them), but it is also very rewarding. Mature cats are calmer with well-developed personalities, and they bond strongly with the people in their lives.
Siamese cats are instantly recognizable. Though native to Thailand, they have been popular in the West since the 19th century, have represented luxury at least that long, and were incredibly annoying in Disney’s Lady and the Tramp.
My foster mom says I am neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. They say that’s good!
I currently live with my foster family in San Rafael.
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home.
If you believe you’re my perfect adopter please explain why in the comments section of my Adoption Application, and contact Carol at got2be1@icloud.com or 415-847-5892. If you are unable to reach Carol please email info@purebredsplus.org.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
