They say good things come in small packages. In this case they come in a very big package. We took this kitten who became Sebastian out of the shelter when he was about 7 weeks old. He had a ringworm spot on his nose and was “at risk”. We already had another ringworm kitten so we thought “Why not have two”?
Sebastian was so patient being dipped and shampooed and in due course, his ringworm was gone. Then he began to grow and grow and gain weight. Kittens grow about a pound a month. This boy now at 8 months is 12 pounds 6 ounces. Even assuming he could lose a pound or two he would still be ten and a half pounds at 8 months. He is part Maine Coon and that heritage suggests he will continue growing into the middle of his third year. He is a big guy.
Sebastian has the long, long body and big full tail of a Maine Coon. His soft fuzzy hair is almost medium length and is dramatically striped. Look at the banding on his legs and his bold classic eye and cheek stripes. His green-yellow eyes set off the brick color of his nose leather. With his beautiful coloring, he is a striking boy, and will grow more so. Remember that despite his current size he is still a growing kitten.
This boy is the most good natured of kitties, and he will forever be a bit of a baby cat. Can you see that in his face? Sebastian loves other cats of all sorts so he needs to go to a home with another cat or cats or maybe a dog. He has never been around dogs but would probably enjoy them. It is easy to imagine him curled up with a big lazy dog. He is a fairly lazy cat himself. Sebastian is confident and trusting with humans he knows; he is easy to hold and move around. This boy has never been a problem child. He would probably be good with children and would make a good family cat. Some family will be so lucky to have his warm, cuddly company.
Sebastian eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Sebastian please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Harriet at email@example.com If you are unable to reach Harriet please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
