Hi ! Samson here . . .
I am a Maine Coon / Ragdoll Mix and am “mainly” Maine Coon with little bit of Ragdoll. My Sister Delilah is a real doll so she’s a Ragdoll/Maine Coon mix. You know how it is with siblings, some have stronger family traits than others, well that’s us! We were adopted as Purebred Plus kittens about 11 years ago to Connie and Phil. We have loved them so much! And we all really miss Connie who went to heaven last year. Phil has promised us that he would find a perfect forever home where we will have someone there most of the time. He has to be gone for work and sometimes travels so that leaves us by ourselves too much and makes us feel lonely.
Delilah really misses Connie and we think she would be so happy for us to be where there is a “Mom”at home. Delilah sometimes sits on a chest in the family room, it has a big picture window with a big tree outside that always has lots of birds to watch. Connie always encouraged her to jump up to see the birds. She still looks for the “jump up” cue from Connie. I can see her anticipation and know how much she still misses her “Mom”. I really miss her too, because I have always liked women and am not so shy with them. Delilah is an ambassador kitty who comes right out and greets everyone. If Delilah approves then I trust her judgement. Except where food is concerned, I am not shy about eating my food. Delilah can be picky sometimes. I really don’t know why because we’ve always had yummy food Blue Buffalo adult chicken dry food and the senior/weight loss chicken food. I must admit I am a little bit overweight and picky Delilah is normal weight.
As I said, I am more on the Maine Coon side of my family with longer hair that needs brushing and I’m fine with that. I like to have a retreat, somewhere dark and cozy, where I can nap and be by myself. We are used to a litter box in the bathroom adjoining the main bedroom. We have liked sleeping with our people at night. I am also good watchman and will quietly patrol the house during the night. Delilah is more awake during the day than I am, she just has a cat nap or two.
We’ve been indoor cats our entire lives with loving caring people. We’ve never been with a dog, and prefer to be together just the two of us, no other pets or small kids. It might take a little getting used to being in a new home, but we will return your love with all our hearts once we know we are where we are meant to be. Love, Samson
My foster mom says I am neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats dry food, and is litterbox perfect. They say that’s good!
I currently live with my owner in Rancho Mirage.
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home.
If you believe you’re my perfect adopter please explain why in the comments section of my Adoption Application, and contact Pam at cheemers@gmail.com or 541-290-8408. If you are unable to reach Pam please email info@purebredsplus.org.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
