About Samson

Adopted by Jim & Fred

Samson is beautiful brown-spotted Bengal with gorgeous rosettes. He is approximately 2 years old and is neutered, microchipped and ready to find a forever home that will allow him to be the sweet gentle boy he is. Samson is shy at first, but as soon he knows you, which doesn’t take long, he is the nicest, lovey cat. Though he is a true Bengal, he does not have the vocal range that sometimes Bengal owners do not care for. He is very quiet and very polite. He loves to be pet and lie in a sunbeam or curl up on your bed. He is also not as active and high strung as an average Bengal. He is much more relaxed and easy-going. He likes kittens that I foster and wants to be friends with my cats, but only a few of them oblige him. So, I think he would do well with other pets if they are not dominant and territorial. He is very submissive, and can became fearful of other cats if they challenge him. He has never swiped, struck, bit or scratched. In fact I’ve never even heard a hiss from him. I do think Samson would do best in a quiet household where he can gain confidence and be spoiled by someone who just wants a loving cat. I think small children would scare him, but older children would be fine.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
