Born 12/23/2012, M, Blue Bicolor Ragdoll
Sammy’s owner describes him as an independent, goofy and relaxed boy. He is really the most magnificent looking cat they have ever seen with his bright blue eyes and his lovely coloring. Most of the time he is content to chill out in funny positions in a comfy spot but when he feels like it he will come over to you and ask for belly rubs. He loves to play and likes catnip and wand toys. He will follow you from room to room and likes to sit near you whatever you’re doing, and occasionally try to “help”.
He has a great temperament with other cats. He has lived with several and tends to be submissive. He probably would prefer a home with no kids or older kids rather than younger ones as he doesn’t enjoy being picked up. He doesn’t need to be the center of attention either. His perfect home will be with someone who enjoys the sheer physical beauty of having a fluffy Ragdoll stroll through the home but doesn’t necessarily need a “Velcro” kitty.
Sammy was adopted a few years ago from his first owner who couldn’t keep him any longer. His current family has contacted our rescue organization to rehome this lovely boy because one of their other cats (who they have had longer than Sammy) bullies him relentlessly and they don’t have space to separate them. It’s making him miserable and ruining his much loved chill time, causing them to seek another home for him where he will be happier.
He does have food sensitivities and does well on duck and peas.
He is neutered of course, is an indoor only kitty, and has never had any litter box issues.
