About Rue (and Ricky)
Born 3/4/2010 F Chocolate Point Siamese
Adoption fee for both cats is $125
Rue and Ricky MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions. See Ricky here.
I am Rue, a beautiful, sweet, and large 11-year-old large Chocolate Siamese girl. My bonded mate (Ricky) and I were surrendered because our family was moving and could not take us.
I am not a very active girl, I prefer to be on the couch all day next to my humans. Please don’t ignore me or I will climb on your lap, make muffins on you and give you bead butts. I really do like a lot of attention. Occasionally I enjoy playing with Ricky with the feather toy.
Although I am very sweet and lovey, I do not like dogs. I like to charge my foster’s elderly dog while he is sleeping. So a home with a dog is not in my future. It’s best for me and the dog.
At night I like to sleep by your head or at the foot of the bed, making muffins and purring. Occasionally I will even join my people under the covers for extra love.
All in all, I’m just a lover who wants my people near me. I do have a medical condition that my vet is hopeful I will overcome soon. (My foster mom will give you more details when you reach out to her.)
It takes a conscious decision to adopt an older cat (especially a pair of them), but it is also very rewarding. Mature cats are calmer with well-developed personalities, and they bond strongly with the people in their lives.
My foster mom says I am spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. They say that’s good!
I currently live with my foster family in Canyon Lake.
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home.
If you believe you’re my perfect adopter please explain why in the comments section of my Adoption Application, and contact Debbie at firstname.lastname@example.org or 714-851-4854. If you are unable to reach Debbie please email email@example.com.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
