I am an 8 year old female spayed Snowshoe Siamese. My bright blue eyes and beautiful coloring are striking and makes me stand out. My foster mom thinks I am very special. I just hope someone will be kind enough to give me a scratch under the chin, let me make biscuits next to them or let me rub all over them.
I came from the Sacramento SPCA. An elderly woman turned me in with her other pets (cats and dogs) when she had to move. She wanted us all euthanized but luckily the shelter knew we were too precious and gave us a second chance by asking for a foster home.
My foster family has two kids, two cats and a dog. I really love my foster mom but don’t necessarily care for the rest. I seem to be most happy in a quiet house with nice adults. I used to live with another cat and dog but I really would just prefer to be the only cat. I’m not aggressive, just scared. It took me over a week to come out from under the bed when I arrived but now that I know I’m safe I’m happy.
I am easy to handle and I even don’t mind the cars. I’m not vocal like a lot of Siamese. I am very low maintenance and just like to hang in the house enjoying the views or sleeping. I would be great for someone who works during the day as you wouldn’t have to worry about me home alone, although I promise to purr and make biscuits when you come home. I prefer dry food over canned food. I don’t eat much but I am a big girl at 17 lbs.
I love windows and fresh air but prefer to be inside. My foster family has a safe garden for me but I really just want to look out at it and not be in it. I’m not a door darter at all.
I am spayed, tested for FIV/Felv, vaccinated and microchipped.
