These boys, Romeo and Apollo, have an unusual COVID story. Early this year their family was visiting New Zealand and became quarantined there unable to leave. They loved New Zealand and somehow ultimately they decided to emigrate there and were welcomed into the country. This is all very nice except they could not bring their treasured Ragdoll kitties. I was the original foster for this pair when they were youngsters back in 2014. I am happy to have them back and get to play with them in their new grown up size. I will find them another wonderful home.
Romeo was a caged breeder’s stud for the first year and a half of his life. The breeder grew ill, stopped breeding, and Romeo and some of her other gorgeous Ragdolls came to Purebreds. Romeo had to learn to play and fool around first my foster and then in his new home.He had lived a life with no play time or space.Having never been loved he fell hard for folks who l would love him. When he purrs and looks at you lovingly with his beautiful blue eyes he will melt your heart.
Romeo loves all kinds of attention and he especially loves to be brushed. He will obligingly roll over on his back so that you can get every single place even including his armpits. He is quite the athlete and can jump higher in the air for a feather than his “brother” Apollo. Romeo loves to eat and will happily eat probably anything. He is eating Weruva Cats in the Kitchen brand right now. He is a happy, easy cat still grateful for his life out of a cage. He and his brother occasionally get annoyed with each other like brothers do but it is really nothing; they are very strongly connected.
Apollo and Romeo need to go home together – they are not brothers but are bonded as brothers. They would like to be the only pets in a stable, fairly quiet home. Older respectful children would probably be fine for them. They have been very lovingly cared for and need a home where folks want to enjoy them with love and attention. That said they are also fine when sometimes left alone all day. These boys are gentle and good-natured as Ragdolls are known to be. They are soft, warm, cuddly loving treasures. Yes, of course, they are also very beautiful.
Romeo has had a blood panel ( perfect) in 2019 and a dental cleaning then. He is in excellent health.
Romeo eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.
His foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.
