Born 2013, M, Bicolor Ragdoll
Romeo is a very sweet boy. He is six years young and was rescued five years ago. In typical Ragdoll fashion, he is an easy going, lovely and charming boy. He exhibits dog like behavior and comes to you when called. If you love being greeted by your pet when you come home, you can expect Romeo to greet you at the door.
His current owners contacted our rescue organization because they have five other pets with various health issues and have come to realize that they are unable to take care of that many pets. Although Romeo was diagnosed with a thyroid issue, they hope that there will be a loving adopter who would not mind caring for Romeo for the rest of his life. He is a kitty that easily takes his thyroid medication, which costs about $30/month. He also had a bout with pancreatitis, which is being managed by providing him with high quality, grain free wet food only (no dry food please). Romeo should receive regular vet care to assure his thyroid levels are in proper range and he can never receive any additional vaccinations because it would cause him serious health issues.
Although he is not a lap cat, he likes to sit close by his people. He is easy going with other cats and small and medium sized dogs. His current owners don’t have small children, so they don’t know how he would be around small children. He is obsessed with boxes and loves paper bags, so you can be assured he will amuse himself for extended periods of time if you provide him with these items.
Romeo eats wet food only and uses his litter box without issues.
