Yup my name is Rocky and it really fits me. I really was a Lucky One! I was in really bad shape when I was rescued. Let’s just say I didn’t know if I would make it. I was really sick. My foster Mom kept calling me her little fighter and after a few rounds of meds, I finally believed it! I fought and came out on top! Now it’s time to put my short, but very eventful, feral life behind me and find me a forever home.

I’m a very handsome black and silver/grey tabby. I have very pronounced stripes on my body and spots on my belly. My foster Mom thinks I might have some Bengal in my history somewhere. It doesn’t matter to me, I’m just happy to be alive!

I love to play and can get going like crazy running around the house, shredding feather toys, wrestling with my siblings. You can tell when I am worked up and in the zone because my tail whips around really fast! Even with that I am always gentle when I play with you humans; after all I am here today because of you!

I am also my foster Mom’s little helper on the computer. In fact I am sitting right here dictating this to her! And of course I am nuzzling and cuddling up to her while she is trying to type it. If I am not doing that I sneak down into her lap under the desk while she is working…because I love being close to her when I am all tuckered out from playing. Sometimes I try to play while I’m helping her and she can’t work too well because I’m chasing the funny moving pointy thing on the screen.

At night I always climb up on to the bed to sleep. They have this fluffy blanket they lay between them and I love kneading and purring that blanket until I fall asleep. Of course my other siblings are here too, but that’s OK by me.

I know I could not have made it without these humans but it’s now time for me to move on and find a family or person of my very own. They have showed me I can trust people. Are you looking for someone like me? I don’t give up and I have oh so much love to share.

Rocky is a very sweet, handsome and lovable little guy. He has been through a lot and deserves a wonderful home that will treasure him. One of the four Lucky Ones…Rocky would love to go home with one of his siblings Pooh Bear, Pearl, or Sunshine.

Rocky will come to you vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and fixed.

Rocky is fostered in Reno, NV.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
