About Ricky (and Rue)

Born 3/4/2012 M Black Domestic Short Hair

Adoption fee for both cats is $125

Ricky and Rue MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions. See Rue here.

I am Ricky, the most sweet and lovable 9 year old Black DSH. My bonded mate (Rue) and I were surrendered because our family was moving and could not take us. I have adjusted well in our foster home and love spending the days on the couch soaking up the sun and head butting my humans. I am very affectionate that way. I also love sleeping in bed with my people.

I am a very large male kitty who loves to play with the feather toy for my entertainment, but other than that, I am pretty laid back. I am okay with other cats but prefer to be with just Rue. I can be shy at first. I would do well in a mellow home that will give me time to adjust. This only took a few days in my foster home. Once I settle in, I like to have conversations with my people. When you talk to me, I’ll talk back to you. I love following you around the house helping you in as many chores as possible. I am all around just an amazing boy who is looking for his furrever home with Rue.

My foster mom says I am neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. They say that’s good!

I currently live with my foster family in Canyon Lake.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you’re my perfect adopter please explain why in the comments section of my Adoption Application, and contact Debbie at debbie.cocanour@gmail.com or 714-851-4854. If you are unable to reach Debbie please email info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interests!
