Raji is a quiet soul that likes to be close to his person, and burrow underneath blankets. He was found all alone in a storm drain by his owner as a wee kitten, so there is no documentation to prove his pure bred qualities. He does “check all the boxes” for a Ragdoll/Siamese mix in appearance, with a full ruff and fluffy long plume of a tail, playful loving temperament, very affectionate and a huge purring machine when loved. He does the endearing “Ragdoll Flop” when picked, up becoming totally limp in your arms. This is the very behavior that gave the Ragdoll breed its name. He was truly a “Lucky Find” and has been adored and very well cared for since that fateful day !
Raji’s owner was recently moved into a care facility, and sadly, she was unable to bring him with her, as pets are not allowed. He was all alone in the house for about 3 weeks. Raji is understandably uncertain with these big changes in his life. We notice the apprehension in his recent photos. He is currently being cared for on a temporary basis by a family friend where he safely isolated in a bedroom. He’s doing well, but unable to remain there for very long. We are seeking a quiet adult home as soon as possible, preferably with a couple or single person, where he may enjoy freedom to move throughout the home. Raji tends to be reclusive around strangers and will take some time to trust that he his safe and loved before unfolding into his loving, cuddly, playful self.
Raji has lived with other cats over the years. We think he would do well in an adult home, single or couple, perhaps with another cat friendly kitty as a companion. We think he may be okay with an older respectful child. Dogs and small children are not recommended for Raji. We also know he will be happy as a single pet if given the playful interaction, love, and snuggle time cuddling under a blanket he is used to. He uses the litter box well, does not mark or have accidents. He is fed over the counter hairball reducing food, which is common for Longhair kitties, along with daily brushing to keep his luxurious coat mat free. Raji is healthy and up to date on all medical needs. His next annual check up would be December 2022.

Raji is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
He currently lives with his owner in Campbell.
