It is so sad when a cat’s owner tragically passes away, especially when the cat is an older cat. Yes we know, everyone wants a younger cat, but with an older cat you know their personality and as a cat lover we need to accept that that no matter how long or how short of a life we can offer one of these special creatures, every minute we get to spend with them is a blessing to be treasured.
You may be delighted to know that your consideration to offer gorgeous Raja a permanent home will also make you the adopter of a unique Savannah boy by the name of Sheldon. Raja is bonded with this affectionate and stunning 25 lb. male Savannah cat.
Both of those handsome cats love attention and people. These cats follow their caretaker around and jump on his lap and talk to him often. The caretaker also mentions that they would be good with children. Savannah Sheldon seems to fight with the caretaker’s other cats so the only feline companion he needs is his “brother” Raja. These fantastic boys share a bromance; please do not ask them to be adopted separately. Losing their original owner was already difficult for them.
Both boys are playful, very well behaved and love to sleep with their human(s). We don’t know how they would react to dogs since they haven’t been exposed to dogs.
The boys have been kept indoors only and are using their litter boxes without any issues.
