About Princess Bella
Born ~11/2014, F, Blue Point Ragdoll
Princess Bella’s mom could not bring her when she moved in with her boyfriend. She had gotten her as a kitten six years earlier and life with her was all Bella had known. I have been a Ragdoll foster for years and I know Ragdolls are very emotional cats that do not take change well. Though Princess Bella handled this change better than many Ragdolls would, we have kept her in foster care for a couple of months to give her time to recover. She is now ready to go home.
This lovely girl came in with the name “Bella.” As we got to know her we added the honorific title “Princess.” I think she was very pleased. This kitty is a diva. She wants to be the only kitty in the home and to get all of your attention. She is in charge and occasionally she is too busy to be petted. But not for long. Once you acknowledge that you are her devoted servant she is super happy and will be a loving, entertaining companion. Look at her rolling around in the basket in the photos below – she is carefully watching to make sure you are admiring her. “See how beautiful and silly I am? Are you watching?” I might add that in her previous photo session she scowled the whole time and all those pictures had to be deleted. She is a flirt and a character and great fun.
Princess or not she really is a very nice, little kitty. And she is little – mostly all fluff. Blue pointed kitties have a face mask, feet, and tail that is a sort of a light grey brown color. Of course, she has the fabulous blue, blue eyes of a Ragdoll which show the Siamese contribution to their genetic history.
As a Princess, she would like no young kids or dogs or other cats in her home. She wants to be the focus of all your attention. She is an easy cat to take care of. As she settles in, finally having the home she has wanted, (she had to share her human in her last home, and not only with the boyfriend) I think you will see her get sweeter and sweeter in gratitude. You will find she is a very interactive companion with her human(s) and, as a Ragdoll, very aware of her human’s feelings. Who doesn’t need that comfort in today’s world?
Princess Bella is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
She is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
