About Pepper Jack

Adopted by Allen, Isiah & Matias

Born ~08/16, F, Tortie DSH

So here is the fourth of the “Cheese Sisters”. She is the smallest and also the most energetic. What a playful girl she is ! She loves humans, and she loves running, she loves making a goof ball of herself, and she loves other cats. She loves everything. Pepper is great fun.

She does not love the camera though because that means staying still and that she would rather not do until she is tired. And she does not tire easily. It is so hard to photograph black kitties and dark torties in general and with Pepper’s energy she makes it harder still. I have struggled to get more than just a blur.

I love the way her long tail is always curling at the tip. She is like a moving cat sculpture. Pepper has a wonderful silhouette and you can see this in her photos. She has soft even length hair of a sable brown black with red tabby stripes mixed in. Photographs just do not do her justice.

It is impossible to not to smile around this girl. She will run up to you and love all over you. “Come play with me” she says. “ Hold me and pet me.” “Let’s go have fun.” She loves lying under crinkly paper and ambushing anything near. She is so full of life. She would be great with children. I don’t know how she is with dogs. She would probably love to play with them. Ideally she would like to go home with one of her sisters. She should not be an only cat, or only pet.

Pepper Jack eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.

Contact Harriet at (831) 336-2983 or toharrietjane@comcast.net if you have questions, or send an Adoption Application. If you are unable to reach Harriet by phone or email, email us at Info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
